Are all Laveta glasses the same? /

Understand that no two pieces of wood are the same, so there will never be two Laveta glasses exactly the same.
The photos that appear in are only representative, each glasses is unique.

Where are they made and how? /

Laveta comes from the south of Spain, specifically Malaga, inevitably influenced by the Mediterranean and its culture. Since 2012, handmade glasses made by hand in Andalusia.

Why are they ecological and sustainable? /

It is well known that wooden products are always related to sustainability. However, a sustainable outcome is not always guaranteed. Woods with certificates of minimal forest impact and eco-sustainable Mazzucchelli M49 bioacetate, in more than 70 manual and semi-manual processes with the effort to be increasingly ecological. We work with a ‘slow-fashion’ process, on request and without stock, to promote responsible consumption.

What is the difference between normal or polarized lens? /

Both lenses provide clear vision, high definition of details and protect from the harmful action of the sun's rays by completely blocking U.V.A and U.V.B. rays. The polarized lens is characterized by suppressing the glare caused by the light that propagates through a refractory surface, such as snow, sand, water, asphalt...

Can I order the glasses without lenses? Can you order prescription lenses? /

Recommendations for use /

We recommend putting on the Laveta glasses with both hands avoiding excessive twisting. Always store the glasses after use in their original case and avoid wearing them without protection in your hair, pockets, backpacks, shirt collars, etc.

Do not expose your Laveta glasses to extreme conditions of temperature and humidity. Avoid prolonged contact of your glasses with any type of liquid.

Treat your Laveta glasses like a work of art, so they will last a lifetime.

How do I care for my Laveta glasses? /

Laveta frames have several layers of hypoallergenic and ecological finish, being resistant to sweat and saliva according to DIN 53160, leaving the wood perfectly nourished and protected so that no special maintenance is necessary. If after a while you notice the dry and dull wood, you can apply beeswax by rubbing in the direction of the grain.

Delivery times /

The Laveta team will manufacture this model exclusively for you, with all our care and dedication so that you can enjoy a unique piece although we will always try to make the delivery time as short as possible, but keep in mind that each glasses is cut, sanded, finished and assembled by hand, and this process requires time.

You will receive your order within a maximum period of 15 days once the purchase is made.

Warranty /

Laveta provides a two-year warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of purchase. The warranty does not cover defects caused by normal use, accidents (crushing, theft, falls, blows, scratches on the lenses), misuse or abusive use of the frame and lenses; nor alterations, repairs or manipulations without the prior authorization of Laveta Eyewear.

sunglasses are made with woods specifically studied to guarantee lightness, comfort and durability. Even so, we must bear in mind that the specific properties of wood offer less mechanical resistance than other materials used in the production of this type of product.

Repairs /

If your glasses suffer any damage, not caused by a manufacturing defect, within the warranty year, and if the customer so wishes, we could replace the complete glasses or repair the affected part at a special price, taking into account that the shipping costs will be borne by the customer.

Returns & Exchanges /

At Laveta we want our customers to be totally satisfied with their purchase. You have a period of 7 business days, counting from the delivery date of the order, to exercise your right of return (According to art. 44 of Law 7/1996, of January 15, on the Retail Trade Regulation modified by Law 47 / 2002, of December 19) in the following cases: If the product you have purchased does not satisfy you, has not undergone any manipulation and is in perfect condition, send us the product to: Laveta Eyewear, C / Esteban Salazar Chapela 20, Portón, 5 Nave 28. 29004 Málaga (Spain). Once received, the amount of the product will be refunded or exchanged for a different product. The transport costs associated with the return will be borne by the customer.

If the product is defective or incorrectly shipped, send the product to Laveta Eyewear, C / Esteban Salazar Chapela 20, Portón 5, Nave 28. 29004 Málaga (Spain). Once the manufacturing defect or shipping error is received and validated, another with the same characteristics will be sent. All shipping costs associated with changes due to manufacturing defects or shipping errors will be borne by Laveta Eyewear. In the event that the products are damaged due to improper packaging, we will not accept the return.
